Job Purpose: To ensure the delivery of mechanical services and repairs of the contract are performed effectively, efficiently, and professionally, satisfying all clients. Responsible for ground support equipment maintenance/repairs and assisting the Account Supervisor.
Principle Accountabilities:
- Support the Line Manager in implementing EMCOR policies, procedures, and standards to maintain operational integrity and high customer service quality.
- Maintain up-to-date technical training and development.
- Complete all Planned Preventative and Reactive Maintenance on schedule, with proper documentation.
- Rectify defects ensuring safety and performance standards are met.
- Perform routine mechanical system maintenance.
- Supervise contractors and ensure certification/documentation compliance.
- Coordinate with Helpdesk for urgent maintenance responses.
- Maintain good housekeeping and professional representation of EMCOR.
- Perform call-out duties as per contractual obligations.
- Follow reasonable requests from line manager.
Person Specification:
- ONC/OND, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in relevant discipline.
- Experience in building services.
- Knowledge of PSSR 2000, Confined Space, Legionella, Permit to Work systems.
- Articulate, numerate, IT literate.
- Understanding of legislative compliance and contract law is preferred.
- Knowledge of Facility Management and Building Service Engineering.
- Ability to uphold high standards in quality, safety, and performance.
- Proven health, safety, and environmental assurance experience.
- Good decision-making and communication skills.
- Resilient under pressure, confident communicator at all levels.
