Job Purpose: To ensure the delivery of mechanical services and repairs of the contract are performed effectively, efficiently, and professionally, satisfying all clients. Responsible for ground support equipment maintenance/repairs and assisting the Account Supervisor.

Principle Accountabilities:

  • Support the Line Manager in implementing EMCOR policies, procedures, and standards to maintain operational integrity and high customer service quality.
  • Maintain up-to-date technical training and development.
  • Complete all Planned Preventative and Reactive Maintenance on schedule, with proper documentation.
  • Rectify defects ensuring safety and performance standards are met.
  • Perform routine mechanical system maintenance.
  • Supervise contractors and ensure certification/documentation compliance.
  • Coordinate with Helpdesk for urgent maintenance responses.
  • Maintain good housekeeping and professional representation of EMCOR.
  • Perform call-out duties as per contractual obligations.
  • Follow reasonable requests from line manager.

Person Specification:

  • ONC/OND, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in relevant discipline.
  • Experience in building services.
  • Knowledge of PSSR 2000, Confined Space, Legionella, Permit to Work systems.
  • Articulate, numerate, IT literate.
  • Understanding of legislative compliance and contract law is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Facility Management and Building Service Engineering.
  • Ability to uphold high standards in quality, safety, and performance.
  • Proven health, safety, and environmental assurance experience.
  • Good decision-making and communication skills.
  • Resilient under pressure, confident communicator at all levels.
