Location: Mobile HVAC – Exeter / Taunton areas
Salary: up to 50k DOE and relevant qualifications + van & fuel card + overtime and call out
Working Hours: 0800-1700 Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, 1 hour lunch

Role Overview
Provide general electrical / mechanical maintenance service and support on refrigeration / air conditioning, heating equipment and associated plant to various properties and data centres.
What you\’ll do
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance tasks on a variety of plant, equipment and industrial service provisions, including:
- HVAC plant and all associated equipment
- Industrial / commercial chillers and various split systems
- Building Management Systems
- AHU plant and associated equipment
- Carry out reactive repair tasks on site for plant and equipment as above
- Follow safe working practices in accordance with Health & Safety requirements
- Ensure spares and materials are used cost-effectively
- Carry out other duties as reasonably requested by site management or the client
- Abide by client and EMCOR site rules and maintain a high standard of discipline
- Work as an on-call duty engineer as part of a team rota if required
- Complete site work order documentation to required site standards
- Carry out other duties as reasonably requested by EMCOR and client management
Who you’ll be
- Solid background within a similar role
- Trade qualifications and level (Refrigeration qualifications NVQ/C&G certificate)
- Electrically qualified or competent
- Data Centre experience would be helpful but not prerequisite
- Refrigerant handling certification
- Knowledge of Permit to Work system
- Undertaken relevant Health and Safety Training (or willing to undertake)
- Ability to sustain effective relationships
- Some knowledge of Building Management Systems would be an advantage
