Job Purpose: To design, draw and estimate proposals for the Fire Detection and Alarm Systems projects and small works for the contract.
What you\’ll do: Design of Fire Detection and Alarm system Estimating and providing proposals for client consideration Drawing of Fire Detection and Alarm systems both extensions and new systems Liaise with on site commercial/technical/operational management in order to comply with company and site procedures Attendance at client contract meetings as and when required Preparation and presentation of Client Contract Reports Prepare project files to include all LPCB/BRE LPS**** documentation from design certification through to verification Maintain Technical Library, including both product and legislative requirement Preparation of a monthly report for the General Manager detailing project activities Attendance at and participation in the Monthly Contract Meeting Who you\’ll be: A qualified Fire Systems Electrician/engineer looking for a trainee role or an experienced designer/CAD technician who is keen to upskill in the Fire sector Sound understanding of requirements under Health and Safety Legislation Ability to interface with people including customer staff at all levels Ability to be a self starter within a team environment Full clean driving license Keyboard Shortcuts F9 – Move focus from the edit area to the Footer Toolbar F10 – Move focus from the edit area to the first toolbar button Shift + TAB – Move focus from the edit area to the last toolbar button EMCOR UK benefits Industry leading maternity
