Take the lead on delivering extra works and minor projects across the Siemens UK portfolio, ensuring everything runs safely, smoothly, and on time. Own the full project lifecycle - from scoping and specification to design, tendering, installation, commissioning, and handover. Work closely with clients and stakeholders to define requirements, prepare budgets, and manage approvals. Coordinate procurement, resource planning, and subcontractor management, ensuring compliance with EMCOR UK processes and Health & Safety regulations. Maintain profitability by managing costs and margins in line with commercial contracts. Oversee RAMS, site inspections, and out-of-hours works, ensuring security and permits are properly controlled. Build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and suppliers while keeping meticulous records for audits. Champion CDM responsibilities and quality standards throughout every stage of delivery.
A seasoned professional with proven experience managing extra works and minor projects in building services. Technically strong, with qualifications or an apprenticeship in an engineering discipline or craft skill - electrical expertise is a big plus. Skilled at planning and organising in dynamic environments, with a track record of delivering multi-trade projects successfully. Confident in liaising with and supervising contractors, ensuring compliance with Health & Safety legislation and CDM responsibilities. A natural communicator at all levels, with excellent written and verbal skills and the ability to build strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and colleagues. Commercially aware, with solid knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management. Comfortable working across structures and assets like plumbing, electricals, HVAC, and building fabric, with a good grasp of building regulations. Self-motivated, reliable, and able to motivate others - someone who takes ownership and acts responsibly. IT-savvy, particularly with Microsoft Office tools. Ideally experienced in large industrial sites, energy management, and decarbonisation projects. Flexible to travel across the UK and work out of hours when needed, with a base in the North of England.
