The predicted salary is between 800 - 1400 £ per month.

This apprenticeship covers business fundamentals, communication (written, verbal, digital), IT and record keeping, project and change management, finance basics, administrative support, professional behaviours, personal development, and practical workplace tasks aligned to real employer needs. You will work towards achieving your business administration qualification by undertaking a recognised apprenticeship and ensure all modules are fully completed.

Responsibilities

  • You will learn how our Skills Matrix is used and book staff on training courses and keep records of all training required, training attended and log all certification and qualification on our simpro system.
  • You will report monthly on mandatory courses via Kallidus and communicate to those who are not compliant.
  • You will learn how to use our holiday planning system and actively take ownership of this.
  • You will learn the job role of the Administrator to enable you to cover during holiday and other absence.
  • Skilled in the use of multiple IT packages and systems relevant to the organisation in order to: write letters or emails, create proposals, perform financial processes, record and analyse data. Examples include MS Office or equivalent packages.
  • Able to choose the most appropriate IT solution to suit the business problem.
  • Able to update and review databases, record information and produce data analysis where required.
  • Produces accurate records and documents including: emails, letters, files, payments, reports and proposals.
  • Makes recommendations for improvements and present solutions to management.
  • Drafts correspondence, writes reports and able to review others' work.
  • Maintains records and files, handles confidential information in compliance with the organisation's procedures.
  • Coaches others in the processes required to complete these tasks.
  • Exercises proactivity and good judgement.
  • Makes effective decisions based on sound reasoning and is able to deal with challenges in a mature way.
  • Seeks advice from more experienced team members when appropriate.
  • Builds and maintains positive relationships within their own team and across the organisation.

Qualifications

  • GCSE in English (grade C/4 or above) or equivalent.
  • GCSE in Math (grade C/4 or above) or equivalent.
  • Share if you have other relevant qualifications and industry experience. The apprenticeship can be adjusted to reflect what you already know.
