We are looking for an Apprentice to join our Quality and Compliance team at the customer site (GSK in Stevenage). You will join as an Apprentice with the aim of completing a relevant qualification and will support the compliance functions across the account, including Pharmaceutical Compliance (GxP) within the Quality & Compliance team.
This introductory role will assist in planning and delivering Management Monitoring and other audit functions, support staff to close critical actions on time, support departmental targets, assist audits and investigations, and train staff to use critical systems effectively. Compliance applies across all activities, and the team provides support to and gains understanding of all departments on the account.
What You\’ll Do
- Assist in investigations: collaborate with cross-functional departments, learn tools to run investigations, and build skills to independently run investigations.
- Set, own and manage CAPA actions: plan, write and own SMART CAPAs arising from audits, deviations, change controls, continuous improvements, or risk management activities.
- Monitor and track compliance actions
- Assist with internal audits
- Support assessment of third-party contractors
- Provide compliance support and training
- Participate in quality discussions and support a Quality Culture across the account
- Adhere to policies and procedures in line with industry standards and regulatory requirements
- Implement and monitor controls where applicable
- Provide systems support
- Ensure timely reporting with support from the wider team
Who You\’ll Be
- Data analysis skills and high attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal skills with good communication and strong written skills
- Clear computer literacy with knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- Experience and knowledge of a pharmaceutical environment and regulations would be advantageous but not necessary
