Job Purpose
Reporting to the Training Manager, responsible for providing coordination and administration resource to the BBC account. Working closely with the central Learning & Development team to ensure that all training is aligned with client requirements, EMCOR UK’s learning and development and business strategies, company goals and enhances employee skills to support professional development. Monitoring training compliance and updating the business online learning management system to ensure training activities are correctly recorded.
Duties
- Training Matrix & Reporting: Collaborating with the Training Managers and senior leadership teams to assess training needs and create and maintain a comprehensive training matrix and structured training plans for all BBC employees. Maintain records of employee training and certification status, preparing reports on training activities and results as required. Advising and guiding BBC employees on available programmes. Manage learning requests for BBC employees. Direct all training requests through the automated link to the central L&D Smartsheet. Working with central L&D team to ensure correct authorisation routes are up to date. Complete training support agreement forms to align with current practices and authority routes, including qualifications requests.
- New Starter Induction: Supporting Training Manager to ensure all new starters receive a comprehensive induction programme. Working with BBC HRBP and central Recruitment teams to ensure all new starters attend monthly virtual Corporate Welcome sessions, reporting on attendance levels and tracking down those employees who fail to attend.
- Programme Coordination: Working with the central L&D team to plan, schedule and coordinate any internally and externally delivered training sessions for BBC employees, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. Liaise with BBC event staff to book training facilities on-site. Ensure that on-site catering is arranged for site-based training events, workshops, roadshows and L&D events. Preparation and dissemination of pre and post course training materials and handouts for internal training sessions. Manage attendance records and record these on individual Kallidus Learn profiles. Ensure feedback evaluations are completed after each programme. Manage attendance of BBC employees to ensure full attendance on booked and scheduled programmes, avoiding late cancellations and no-shows. In conjunction with the central L&D team and Head of Soft Services, coordinate and organise BICSc training sessions for internal trainers, assessors and cleaning operatives. Working with central L&D, ensuring any site-based training and meeting rooms are prepared and ready to receive organisers, facilitators and delegates. Provide/facilitate a meet and greet service for trainers and delegates when on-site, showing them to their rooms and facilities. Manage communication of upcoming training programmes to EUK BBC staff. Ensure central L&D team are kept up to date with any activities.
- Ad-hoc: Working with Training Manager and other BBC Training Coordinator/s to cover absence or during busy periods. Provide support at learning events/workshops as required. Other duties as required.

Other Factors
This role is site and office-based. Responsible for delivering coordination service for around 350 employees working across BBC EMCOR UK. UK-wide travel is required across BBC sites. Full, clean driving licence is essential.
