Location: Aldermaston

Salary: Competitive salary – dependent on experience

Working Hours: 7:45 – 16:30 (16:15 on Fridays)

Role Overview: To provide expert guidance and oversight to ensure that engineering systems and processes comply with statutory, regulatory, and organisational standards. This role is critical in maintaining safety, reliability, and technical integrity across high‑risk or specialist engineering domains.

What You’ll Do:

  • Support the effective delivery of EMCOR UK’s ‘Significant Risk’ Safe Systems of Work (SSoW) activities across accounts.
  • Provide risk‑based delivery of technical audits, communicate identified corrective actions and, where required, support account teams to rectify corrective actions or escalates technical risk to leadership teams.
  • Analyse existing technical compliance and assurance activities to identify opportunities across the People, Policy and Process pillars.

Who You’ll Be:

  • Minimum HND‑level qualification in a relevant engineering discipline, a similar technical field or equivalent technical/engineering experience.
  • Hold IEng professional status with a desire to work towards CEng status (IET, IMECHE, CIBSE etc).
  • Demonstrable AP/AE experience and qualifications with a minimum of 5 years relevant operation and maintenance experience.
  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of aspects of safety and risk management, including current safety issues, legislation, management and ISO standards.
  • Working knowledge of quality management systems with a high degree of procedural, technical and HSE compliance.
  • IT literate including Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Smartsheets and Visio.
