Role Overview:
To learn the skills needed to carry out planned preventative maintenance, fault diagnosis, and repair on various mechanical and electrical plant and equipment, including:
- Electrical building tests
- Electrical / Mechanical fault finding
- Refrigeration and air conditioning maintenance
- Heating and ventilation systems
- Industrial boilers and controls
- Hot water and water distribution systems
- Steam distribution systems
- Compressed air systems
- Condition monitoring and thermography
Person Specification:
Who you\'ll be:
- Studying or qualified in Maths, English, and Science or a craft-based subject to a minimum grade C
- Articulate, numerate, and IT literate
- Understanding of FM and Building Services Engineering
- Ability to identify health, safety, and environmental issues
- Good communication skills
- Resilient under pressure, confident in communicating with staff, suppliers, and customers at all levels
