Stevenage - site based Mon-Fri 8 am to 5pm. Role offers package in the range of £40-48k depending on experience and expertise.
What you'll do:
- Support site teams with planned and reactive maintenance, ensuring maximum efficiency and reliability of services.
- Carry out installation works and troubleshoot mechanical faults, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
- Prepare technical quotations and deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
- Maintain a safety-first approach, working to defined systems and escalating issues when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards in all activities.
- Provide technical guidance to colleagues and apprentices.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure smooth operations.
Who you'll be:
- Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in a mechanical discipline.
- IOSH Managing Safely certification.
- Hands-on experience in building services or industrial environments, including steam and water systems.
- Strong communication and IT skills.
- Proven ability to work in regulated environments (pharmaceutical experience preferred).
- Willingness to attain Authorised Person (Pressure Systems) status during probation.
