Electrician – Housing, Repairs & Remedial Works Rate: £22.00 per hour Hours: Monday–Thursday 8:00am–4:30pm | Friday 8:00am–1:30pm Overtime: Time and 1/3 after 37 hours Benefits: Company Van & Fuel Card provided (no personal use) We are currently looking for experienced Electricians to join a busy team carrying out electrical works across domestic housing properties. The role will involve a mixture of repairs, remedial works and insurance-related works, working across occupied and void properties. Typical duties will include: * Electrical repairs and maintenance within domestic properties * Fault finding and diagnostics * Remedial electrical works * Rewires and partial rewires where required * Installation and replacement of sockets, switches, lighting and other electrical accessories * Testing and inspection of electrical installations * Identifying faults and completing repairs to the required standard * Working safely within occupied and void properties * Completing relevant job sheets and documentation * Ensuring all work complies with current electrical regulations and health & safety requirements Requirements: Applicants should be fully qualified Electricians with previous experience working within domestic housing, repairs, maintenance or similar environments. You should be comfortable working independently, dealing with tenants/customers and completing jobs to a high standard. Package: £22.00 per hour with overtime paid at time and 1/3 after 37 hours. Working hours are 8:00am–4:30pm Monday to Thursday and 8:00am–1:30pm Friday. A company van and fuel card will be provided for business use.
