Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Environmental Requirement Specifications (ERS), EMC Control Plans, Proving Plans, Proving Requirements, and Proving Instructions.
- Support projects to ensure correct EMC requirements are implemented and designs are robust.
- Review hardware, perform informal testing, and provide hands-on support where necessary.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver EMC solutions on time, to budget, and to quality standards.
- Contribute to risk reduction and qualification strategies to bring products into service.
Skills and experience
- Higher education or equivalent experience in Electronics, Electrical, Physics, EMC, or a related field.
- Solid understanding of EMC principles and design practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work to deadlines and budgets.
- Professional, adaptable approach to evolving project requirements.
- Knowledge of military EMC standards (e.g., Defence Standard 59-411, AECTP500, Mil-Std-461, RTCA DO160 / EUROCAE ED-14) is desirable.
- Previous experience delivering EMC support across complex systems is advantageous.
