Role Overview
General Teaching Assistant (GTA) at Embsay CE Primary School. Part time, 10.5 hrs per week, term time only plus 5 days. Grade CD, SCP 3-6. Required from July 2026 to 23rd July 2027.

Responsibilities
- Support the teacher in delivering high-quality lessons
- Work with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning
- Adapt support to meet needs of all pupils, including those with SEND or EAL
- Promote positive behaviour and engagement in line with school and Trust policies
- Assist with the preparation of resources and classroom organisation
- Observe, monitor and record pupil progress
- Contribute to a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment
