We’re working with a well-established, highly successful manufacturing business based near Tamworth, which exports its products globally and prides itself on long-term staff retention and a supportive, down-to-earth culture. Due to continued growth and an exciting period of change, they’re now looking to welcome a Shipping & Logistics Coordinator to support increased demands.

The Role
This is a hands-on, fast-paced role where accuracy, communication and organisation are key. You’ll play a vital part in ensuring products are shipped smoothly to customers around the world. Your responsibilities will include:
- Raising invoices and preparing shipping paperwork
- Coordinating with couriers and 3PL partners
- Applying and understanding Incoterms
- Managing export documentation and declarations
- Using internal systems and customer portals for bookings
- Printing labels and shipping documents
- Ensuring all details are accurate (costs, EORI, tax IDs, declarations etc.)
- Liaising with sales, dispatch, couriers and customers
This is a busy, paper-based environment, so attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple shipments is essential.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in shipping, logistics or exports
- Confidence working with couriers and logistics providers
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, paper-based environment
- A positive, outgoing and “can-do” attitude
- Proficiency using internal ERP systems for raising invoices and booking transport
- Confidence navigating customer-specific portal systems for order management and label generation
- Good general IT skills, including email and document management
Previous experience in export-focused roles, within engineering or manufacturing, is particularly valuable. However, candidates from retail, food, or similar distribution backgrounds will also be considered if they understand core shipping and documentation processes.
About the Team & Culture
You’ll be joining a small, friendly and supportive logistics team, reporting directly to the Warehouse & Logistics Manager. This is a company where people genuinely enjoy coming to work.
