This company is a well-established entity in the precision engineering industry with a history of supplying safety-critical, highly complex components to globally recognised customers.What\’s in it for you? Stability / Longevity: This is a permanent position.Competitive salary: The rate of pay is circa £42,000 per annum.Hours: Days.Responsibilities As a Project Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for the planning, execution, monitoring, and continuous improvement of project quality management and control. Your main goal is to ensure projects are delivered in line with contractual specifications and business processes.Your responsibilities will include:Tendering and Project Kick-offReviewing client specifications and producing Project Quality PlansReviewing and approving MITPs (Manufacturing Inspection and Test Plans)Flowing down client quality requirements to functions and suppliersManaging client non-conformance issues.Supporting project and client meetings.Conducting supplier surveillance and managing quality oversight activities within the supply chain.What you\’ll bring Successful applicants must be able to demonstrate:Knowledge of ISO 9001, EN 3834, and EN1090.Experience with NCR (Non-Conformance Report) generation and management.Strong practical problem-solving skills, with experience in methodologies like 8D, Six Sigma, 5S, or 7W.About us EMBS Engineering is a dedicated talent specialist that partners with leading precision engineering companies across various industries, including Aerospace, Automotive, Nuclear, and more.
