EMBS Engineering is currently recruiting for a skilled CNC Turner to join a precision engineering company located in Nottingham, working on a permanent basis. Due to the nature of the markets our client supplies into, all candidates must be UK residents, and DBS checks will be required. Please note we cannot offer visa sponsorship for overseas candidates.

- 4 Day working week, Monday to Thursday Nights 8pm- 6am
- Overtime available at premium rates - x1.5 after 39 hours

Your responsibilities include:
- Setting and Operating 5-axis CNC Turning machines using Fanuc controls
- Machining complex parts for precision industries including Aerospace, Motorsport, Nuclear, and more using materials such as titanium and hardened steels.
- Working from engineering drawings
Successful applicants MUST be able to demonstrate:
- Minimum 3 years experience setting and operating CNC Turning machines
- Confident running multi-axis CNC Turning machines
- Previous experience working on DMU, DMG Mori Seiki, Doosan Puma / Lynx or Matsuura machines, would be advantageous but not essential
- Experience working with Fanuc controls is essential
- Previous machined complex parts for precision industries including Aerospace, Motorsport, Nuclear, MOD, Oil & Gas etc
- Previously worked with exotic materials is desirable but as a minimum experience using Titanium, and hardened steels
- Experience machining to tight tolerances
- Confident working with small to medium-sized components
