EMBS Engineering is currently recruiting for a CNC Turner to join a precision engineering company located in Leicester, working on a permanent basis.
Due to the nature of the markets our client supplies into, all candidates must be UK residents, and DBS checks will be required. Please note we cannot offer visa sponsorship for overseas candidates.

Your responsibilities include:
- Setting, Operating and Editing CNC 2-axis Turning machines using Fanuc controls
- Read and interpret complex engineering drawings
- Adjusting tooling\’s and offsets, set datums, check tools and work holdings
- Self-inspect own parts using manual measuring equipment
Successful applicants must be able to demonstrate:
- Able to set, operate and edit CNC Turning machines
- Proficiency in adjusting tooling and offsets, setting datums, checking tools and work holdings, etc
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings in metric and imperial measurements
- Confidence self inspecting own parts using manual measuring equipment
- Experience machining complex engineering components in large batches
- Confident in machining tough materials such as titanium, inconel and other super alloys to tight tolerances
