EMBS Engineering is currently recruiting a skilled Quality Inspector to join an exciting company located in Wolverhampton, working on a permanent basis.

Due to the nature of the work and industries supported within this position, candidates may be subject to requiring security clearances; therefore, our client is unable to support visa applications from residents outside of the UK. Only applications meeting this criteria will be considered.

Key Benefits on offer:

  • Shifts: Days and Afternoons with an early finish on Fridays

Your responsibilities include:

  • Completing goods-in, intermediate and final inspections
  • Raising Non-Conformance Reports as necessary
  • Maintaining inspection and quality records in line with customer requirements
  • Liaising with a variety of departments

Successful applicants MUST be able to demonstrate:

  • Experience of carrying out inspections using portable metrology equipment - Faro Arm would be advantageous
  • Reading and interpreting schematic drawings and specifications relating to Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing
  • Strong IT skills with programs relating to spreadsheets, word processing and databases

Desirable:

  • Experience in maintaining stakeholder relationships
  • Experience in carrying out internal audits
