EMBS Engineering is currently recruiting a skilled Quality Inspector to join an exciting company located in Wolverhampton, working on a permanent basis.
Due to the nature of the work and industries supported within this position, candidates may be subject to requiring security clearances; therefore, our client is unable to support visa applications from residents outside of the UK. Only applications meeting this criteria will be considered.
Key Benefits on offer:
- £40,000 to £45,000 per annum
- Shifts: Days and Afternoons with an early finish on Fridays
- Overtime available at premium rates

Your responsibilities include:
- Completing goods-in, intermediate and final inspections
- Raising Non-Conformance Reports as necessary
- Maintaining inspection and quality records in line with customer requirements
- Liaising with a variety of departments
Successful applicants MUST be able to demonstrate:
- Experience of carrying out inspections using portable metrology equipment - Faro Arm would be advantageous
- Reading and interpreting schematic drawings and specifications relating to Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing
- Strong IT skills with programs relating to spreadsheets, word processing and databases
Desirable:
- Experience in maintaining stakeholder relationships
- Experience in carrying out internal audits
