EMBS Engineering is currently recruiting for a skilled CAD CAM Programmer to join a precision engineering company located in North Nottinghamshire, working on a permanent basis.
Our client is an award winning, advanced manufacturing business that specialises in supplying industry leading clients within highly regulated industries.
Due to the nature of the markets our client supplies into, all candidates must be UK residents, and DBS checks will be required. Please note we cannot offer visa sponsorship for overseas candidates.

Following record breaking sales and with a healthy pipeline of new work, our client is looking to expand their Programming department.
Your responsibilities include:
- Programming multi-axis CNC Milling / Turning / Mill-Turn machines using offline controls such as Siemens NX / FeatureCAM software
- Creating complex and challenging NC Programs for sub assembly parts made from exotic alloys
- Proving out programs using Vericut
- Working from Engineering drawings / 3D models
Successful applicants MUST be able to demonstrate:
- Minimum of 3 years programming CNC Milling / Turning / Mill-Turn machines using offline controls
- Siemens NX is essential
- Understanding of Fanuc CNC controls
- Worked with multi-pallet, multi-axis machines
- Knowledge of implementing tool offset management
- Ability to work from engineering drawings and 3D models
- Ability to prove out programs
- Previous experience in producing programs for complex components, ideally within aerospace, motorsport, nuclear, oil & gas or medical sectors
