As SEO Executive, you are expected to support the delivery of high-quality SEO strategies across our client portfolio. You will be expected to conduct keyword research, technical audits, write metadata and review internal links among other SEO tasks, under the guidance of senior team members. As a junior member of the SEO team, you’ll help maintain reporting accuracy, drive small-scale innovations, and build the foundational skills that power our clients’ long-term organic growth.

Role responsibilities:

  • Collaboration Collaborate with Content Writers and PR Executives on cross-functional tasks like keyword briefs and content optimisation.
  • Delivery Responsible for the delivery of SEO work on your clients to a high standard. Your tasks will include (but are not limited to) technical auditing, content auditing, keyword research, metadata writing, internal linking audits, content uploads and other on-page SEO tasks.
  • Development Attend training sessions, complete certifications where relevant, and work with senior team members to build your SEO knowledge.
  • Innovation Stay up to date with SEO news, algorithm changes, and emerging trends.
  • Performance Add commentary to reports in Agency Analytics that highlight performance trends that can be directly linked back to work we’ve completed. Responsible for ensuring that dashboards are reporting accurately and no data is missing.
  • Strategy Work closely with SEO Account Managers and Strategists to execute tasks aligned with campaign goals.

Skills:

  • General SEO Basic understanding of SEO principles, including how search engines work, what impacts rankings, and how to optimise content and websites.
  • Experience Ideally 1+ year in an SEO, marketing, or digital role (agency or in-house), or a relevant degree/certification.
  • Communication Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Mindset Eager to learn, proactive in asking questions, and unafraid to try new things. Passionate about SEO and excited to grow in a supportive team environment.
  • Organisational Strong organisational and prioritisation skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams. You should be confident that your workload is manageable and that appropriate deadlines are set and met.
  • Relationship Building Easily builds strong relationships with those in your team and the wider business.
  • Tools Familiarity with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides), Screaming Frog, GA4, GSC and SEO campaign management tools such as Ahrefs or SERanking.
