Role Description: This is a graduate sales programme delivered in two stages. You will begin with a full-time, on-site summer internship at Embrava's headquarters in Hudson Yards, New York, then return to the UK to join our team full-time as a Sales Development / Business Development Representative (SDR/BDR). The New York internship runs 10 to 12 weeks and is designed for ambitious recent graduates who want real, hands-on experience in B2B tech sales, not busy work. You will spend the summer learning the full outbound prospecting process alongside our US team, then bring those skills back to help build our UK pipeline. This is a genuine pathway into a permanent commercial career, with a clear route from SDR/BDR to Account Executive.
The Programme:
- Summer in New York (internship): Prospect and qualify outbound leads via LinkedIn, cold calling, and email outreach.
- Research target accounts and build contact lists within our ICP (Ideal Customer Profile).
- Support inbound lead qualification and pipeline management.
- Shadow and collaborate with our SDR and Account Executive team.
- Contribute to refining outreach messaging and prospecting playbooks.
- Returning to the UK (full-time SDR/BDR): Join the UK sales team in a permanent SDR/BDR role.
- Apply the outbound playbook you learned in New York to build UK and European pipeline.
- Work closely with Account Executives, with a structured promotional path of your own.
Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree completed by summer 2026.
- This programme is intended for recent graduates available to start the New York internship in summer and the full-time UK role immediately afterwards.
- The right to work in the UK.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confident on the phone and in writing.
- Self-starter with high attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- A genuine interest in tech sales as a career path.
- Prior sales, customer-facing, or university society or club leadership experience is a plus.
Compensation: Summer internship (New York): $22 to 24 per hour, 40 hours per week. Potential for a performance bonus based on the end-of-summer evaluation.
