Working in partnership with the sales/operations team, a demonstration pilot flies an aircraft to an event, meeting, or airshow to exhibit its capability, performance, safety, and comfort to prospective customers–or their representatives. It may include an Executive Demo where the focus is on the cabin experience, but it may also be a Pilot Demo where the focus is moved to the cockpit. Demo pilots also provide their expertise on production acceptance flights, deliveries, and entry-into-service. The opportunity for global sales demonstrations including transatlantic flights. As a demonstration pilot you will be trained to the highest standard\’s with many specialist courses available.
This isn’t a normal A to B flying job. You must be enthusiastic with, and desire to be in front of prospective customers to be successful in this career. We are looking for a talented and energetic pilot that has a keen ability to learn from our experienced group of Demo pilots based in the UK. This position is for those that are looking to build experience in their aviation careers with a job that is both challenging and rewarding.

Location
This is a full-time position based in United Kingdom (EGSS-London, Stansted). The applicant must be within or relocate to within 3.0hrs (normal drive time) of EGSS.
Responsibilities
• Operate two Embraer types as the Second in Command
• Accountable with the Pilot in Command to ensure the safety and legality of the assigned flights.
• Perform administrative duties and ensure Embraer policies governing the flight operation per the Flight Operations Manual (FOM) are met.
• Coordinate closely with the Regional Sales Directors and mission Captain to ensure that the flight demo experience is tailored to customer needs, and ensure the result is a world class experience that contributes to the sales effort.
• Participates with clients in new aircraft operation procedures–helping with necessary manuals, guides, forms, etc.,
• Ensures operational functionality, and pilot and passenger safety.
• Ensures regulatory compliance and product specifications.
• Complete the internal qualification process to upgrade to Demo Pilot.
Requirements
• Excellent customer facing skills and the ability to build relationships.
Turbo Prop/ Turbo Jet type rating.
• Current 61.58 or equivalent in the last 12 months.
• Must have flown in the past 90 days.
• FAA Commercial ME, or ATP. If not, must have the ability to obtain one.
• Available to be employed in the UK.
Desirable
The most competitive candidates will also have:
• 3-plus years previous experience in corporate aviation.
• 3-plus years previous experience as an Second in Command.
Previous experience as a flight instructor or simulator instructor
• 1000 minimum total flight hours.
• 500 minimum PIC (Pilot in Command) hours.
• 250 minimum Turbo Jet hours.
• Technical degree in aviation or A&P license.
• Current CFI, CFII, and MEI
