Thank you for your interest in being a Summer Camp Counselor. This application is for a Summer Camp Counselor that will work 1:1 or in a small group with summer campers on the Medicaid Waiver. Become a valuable member of our Summer Camp team and embark on 8 weeks of exciting experiences in the intellectual and developmental disability field, engaging with individuals ages 5 and up.

As a camp counselor, you’ll guide campers through each camp day filled with thrilling field trips, exploring our communities, developing vocational skills, participating in physical activities, mastering life skills, and enjoying a variety of creative experiences. Join us for a summer of meaningful connections and unforgettable moments!

Job Type: Part-time

Requirements:

  • A smart phone or device with cellular and/or internet service.
  • An email address that is checked regularly as all communication will come via email.
  • Notes are required to be submitted within 24 hours of the end of a shift.
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Valid Auto Insurance Card
  • Valid Auto Registration
  • Driving Record
  • Social Security Card/Passport or Other Approved Identity Verification Document
  • Tuberculosis Screening (Negative)
  • CPR Card (Front and Back) - Must Be An IN PERSON Certification
  • County Criminal History Record from each county of residence from the last 3 years. (This can be obtained from the local Sheriff’s Department)
  • Background checks for Indiana and any other state of residence for the past three years. (State (Limited) Criminal History Report)

The above requirements are required by the State of Indiana to provide direct support professional care per the IAC 460.

Salary: $17/hour - $18.00/hour
