We are searching for the best education professionals. Rawlins is seeking to appoint a dynamic Teacher of English to join our fantastic team and flourishing school. Our ideal candidate will have the ability to teach English to KS3/KS4 (A Level desirable but not essential). The specifics of the TLR are to be confirmed dependent upon the needs of the Department.
The English Department has a strong tradition of collaboration and innovation and regularly share good practice and expertise which contributes to everyone’s personal development. This combination of teamwork, an outward looking approach and a willingness to reflect internally upon best practice contributes to a strong drive to continually ensure the best possible education for all pupils. All staff are encouraged to participate fully within the Department, contributing their ideas in order to ensure we continue to move forward.
This is an excellent opportunity to join one of Leicestershire’s largest secondary schools, with over 1500 on roll including more than 300 in our A-Level specific Sixth Form. We are a highly inclusive school having our own Autism and a Moderate Learning Difficulties specialist unit on site alongside our school’s SEND support base. Pupils who attend these units are an integrated part of our school community.
