Position: After School Club Assistant

8.75 hours per week, 3.15pm – 5pm, Monday to Friday

Salary: Grade 4, points 5 to 6: actual £5,019 to £5,058 (£24,804 to £24,999 FTE).

Huncote Primary School is a vibrant and inclusive primary school dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for our pupils. We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic individual to join our team.

As a Before and After school Club Assistant you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations, ensuring the safety and well-being of the children in your care.

Your duties will include:

  • Supervising children during before and after school activities.
  • Assisting with the planning and delivery of engaging and age-appropriate activities.
  • Providing a safe and welcoming environment for all children.
  • Supporting children with their homework and other educational activities.
  • Communicating effectively with parents and carers.
  • Ensuring all behavioural, safeguarding and health and safety policies are adhered to.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Experience working with children in a similar setting.
  • A genuine passion for working with primary aged children.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly and as part of a team.
