We are seeking an experienced and motivated Deputy Care Home Manager to support the leadership of our CQC-regulated adult residential home in Saughall. Working closely with the Registered Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the home delivers outstanding care, maintains regulatory compliance, and provides a stable, therapeutic environment where both the people we support and our colleagues can thrive. This is an exciting opportunity for an established Deputy Manager or an experienced Senior Support Worker ready to step into a leadership role.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Registered Manager with the day-to-day running of the service
- Lead, motivate, coach and develop Support Workers and Senior Support Workers
- Promote a culture of high-quality, person-centred care
- Ensure safeguarding practices are embedded throughout the service
- Support care planning, risk management and behaviour support strategies
- Assist with CQC compliance, audits, inspections and quality assurance processes
- Build strong relationships with families, professionals and external stakeholders
- Create a positive, safe and therapeutic environment for the adults we support
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Experience working as a Deputy Manager, Senior Support Worker or Manager within a CQC-regulated adult care setting
- A strong understanding of safeguarding, adult social care legislation and CQC standards
- Excellent leadership, communication and team-building skills
- The ability to lead by example and inspire others
- A genuine passion for supporting adults with additional needs
- A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care (or be working towards it)
