Embrace Care is recruiting an experienced Deputy Care Home Manager to support the leadership of our Ofsted‑registered children’s residential home, supporting children and young people with Autism, ADHD, learning disabilities, emotional needs and behavioural needs. As a Deputy Care Home Manager at Embrace Care, you will play a key role in ensuring safe, stable and nurturing care, supporting teams on shift and contributing to high‑quality outcomes for the children in our care.
What you’ll be responsible for:
- Supporting the Registered Manager in the day‑to‑day leadership of an Ofsted‑regulated children’s residential home
- Leading, coaching and supporting Support Workers on shift
- Maintaining high standards of safeguarding, care planning and behaviour support
- Supporting Ofsted compliance, inspections and quality assurance processes
- Building positive relationships with families, professionals and external partners
- Creating a safe, stable, therapeutic and nurturing environment for children and young people
What you’ll need:
- Experience as a Deputy Manager, Senior Support Worker or Manager in an Ofsted‑regulated children’s residential home
- Strong understanding of safeguarding, children’s residential care and regulatory standards
- Confident leadership, communication and shift‑leading skills
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare, or working towards it
- A values‑led approach with a commitment to achieving positive outcomes for children and young people
What you’ll receive:
- ÂŁ35,500 to ÂŁ36,500 per year
