At Embrace Care, we support adults and young people with Autism, ADHD, Learning Disabilities and Mental Health needs across our CQC-regulated adult services and Ofsted-regulated children’s homes. We’re growing — and as part of that growth, we’re launching a brand-new Training Team. This is a rare opportunity to help shape learning and development from the ground up and make a real impact across the organisation.
We’re looking for a Training Manager to join our newly created team, working alongside a Senior Training Manager to build, develop and lead training across Embrace Care. This is a hands‑on and strategic role, where you’ll drive high-quality induction, ensure 100% training compliance, and help embed a strong learning culture across our services. If you’re passionate about developing people and improving care standards, this role gives you the platform to truly make a difference.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Induction & Training Delivery
- Planning, organising and coordinating induction programmes
- Delivering elements of induction and overseeing online learning
- Ensuring new starters complete training and policy sign‑offs
- Ongoing Training & Compliance
- Designing and delivering refresher and service‑specific training
- Monitoring training compliance across all services (CQC & Ofsted)
- Coordinating training schedules to maintain 100% compliance
- NVQs & Qualifications
- Managing enrolment and progress of NVQs
- Liaising with providers, assessors and internal stakeholders
- Support learners through observations and feedback
- Quality & Compliance
- Conducting training audits and maintaining accurate records
- Working closely with Quality and HR teams on compliance and improvements
- Ensuring training aligns with regulatory standards and best practice
- Continuous Improvement
- Evaluating training effectiveness and improving programmes
- Analyzing data to identify skills gaps and development needs
- Producing reports for senior leadership
- Strategic Development
- Supporting the development of the L&D strategy
- Contributing to succession planning and leadership development
- Building partnerships with training providers and sector bodies
What We’re Looking For
- Experience
- Training, L&D or Training Coordination experience
- Designing and delivering training programmes
- Managing induction and training compliance
- NVQ/qualification management experience
- Experience in health & social care (highly desirable)
- Qualifications & Knowledge
- Level 3 Award in Education and Training (or equivalent)
- Assessor qualification (desirable)
- Knowledge of CQC and/or Ofsted frameworks
- Understanding of adult learning principles
- Skills
- Confident trainer with strong facilitation skills
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Analytical mindset with ability to interpret training data
