Embrace Care is a specialist provider supporting adults and young people with Autism, ADHD, Learning Disabilities and Mental Health needs. We deliver high-quality care through our CQC-regulated adult services in Chester and Ofsted-regulated children’s residential homes in Preston. As part of our continued growth, we are creating a brand-new Training team consisting of a Training Manager and a Senior Training Manager—a fantastic opportunity to shape and lead learning and development across the organisation.
This is a senior leadership position responsible for driving the training and development function across all services. You will ensure that all employees receive high-quality induction, mandatory training and ongoing development, enabling them to deliver safe, effective and compliant care. You’ll play a key role in strengthening workforce capability, supporting regulatory compliance, and embedding a strong learning culture across Embrace Care.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead and manage the full induction programme for all new starters
- Design and deliver engaging training sessions
- Coordinate internal and external training resources
- Plan and deliver refresher and role-specific training programmes
- Ensure training compliance across all services
- Identify and respond to ongoing training needs
- Manage NVQ enrolments, progress, and completions
- Liaise with training providers and assess learners
- Support qualification pathways across CQC and Ofsted services
- Monitor and audit training compliance to ensure 100% standards
- Maintain accurate training records and matrices
- Align training with regulatory requirements and inspection readiness
- Line manage and develop the Training Manager
- Contribute to organisational strategy as part of the Senior Management Team
- Produce reports for senior leadership and drive continuous improvement
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for a confident and experienced training professional who can lead from the front and influence at a senior level.
Essential:
- Level 3 Award in Education and Training (or equivalent)
- Proven experience in training, L&D, or training management
- Strong knowledge of CQC and/or Ofsted frameworks
- Experience designing and delivering training programmes
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
Desirable:
- Assessor and/or Internal Verifier qualification
- Experience managing NVQs and training compliance
- Background in health and social care or another regulated sector
- Experience leading or managing a team
