Quanity Surveyor, Glasgow. I am delighted to be supporting an established, growing organisation in the energy efficiency sector who have a vacancy for an experienced quantity surveyor to join their expanding commercial team. This position offers a unique opportunity to play a key role in shaping and driving the commercial success of their projects. If you have a strong track record in subcontractor procurement, contract management, and financial oversight, I would love to hear from you. Key Responsibilities: Procuring and managing subcontractor packages to ensure quality and value for money. Expertise in working with various forms of contracts and ensuring compliance. Managing key internal and external stakeholder relationships effectively. Leading the cost-value reconciliation process, providing accurate and timely financial reporting. Monitoring project budgets and expenditures to ensure profitability and alignment with commercial objectives. Providing commercial advice and support to the project delivery team. Requirements: Current experience in a similar position, preferably within energy / renewables or construction environment Excellent analytical and numerical skills Sound knowledge of construction practices, materials, and regulations. Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft office Ability to use persuasive interpersonal skills to establish long-term and beneficial relationships. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
