Head of Sourcing – Major Projects – Glasgow or Northwest England.

Due to growth, they are now seeking an experienced sourcing leader to shape and deliver category strategies across construction, fit-out, and professional services on a global scale. Based in Glasgow or Northwest England, this is a hybrid position offering an excellent balance of office collaboration and flexible working.

In this high-impact role, you will:

• Lead complex sourcing initiatives and high-value negotiations across major project categories.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to align sourcing strategy with business priorities.
• Strengthen governance, controls, and supplier performance frameworks.
• Manage and mentor a small team, fostering excellence in category management.
• Identify opportunities to drive efficiency and optimise buying channels.

To be successful:

You’ll bring a proven track record in complex sourcing and project environments, with experience in sectors such as construction, infrastructure, energy, utilities, manufacturing, defence, or engineering services. Exceptional negotiation, stakeholder management, and commercial acumen are essential.
