As part of their continued expansion, they’re looking to appoint a commercial manager to lead on major construction and infrastructure projects, from tender stage through to final delivery.
Providing hands-on commercial leadership across large-scale engineering projects.
Advising on commercial strategy during tender phases and overseeing contract structures (e.g. subcontracts, teaming and bidding agreements).
Driving margin improvement, commercial compliance, and proactive risk mitigation.
Leading claims preparation, final account negotiations, and dispute resolution strategies.
Managing valuations, invoicing, and cash collection in line with project milestones and internal governance.
Leading and developing more junior members of the commercial team.
A strong track record in commercial management within the engineering, aerospace, construction, defence or similarly complex project environments.
Deep understanding of contractual frameworks and the ability to provide practical, solutions-focused advice to project and senior leadership teams.
Experience in building commercial capability and mentoring project teams.
Creating and implementing commercial processes to support project delivery.
Strong understanding of a broad range of contract terms and conditions.
