We are looking for an experienced Night Support Worker with previous experience in care, supported living or residential care.
You must be calm, reliable and able to respond confidently when someone needs support overnight.

What you'll get: £14.50 per hour Paid induction and ongoing training 28 days' holiday, including bank holidays, pro rata Medicash healthcare plan Dental, optical, physiotherapy and wellbeing support £1,000 refer-a-friend bonus Support with care qualifications Opportunities to progress into senior and management roles Loyalty bonus worth up to £10,000 over 10 years 20% discount at our Chester and Preston hotels Free on-site parking What you'll do: As a Waking Night Support Worker, you will: Maintain a safe, calm and welcoming home throughout the night Support adults who wake or require reassurance Provide personal care when needed Complete regular welfare and safety checks Follow individual care plans, risk assessments and night-time routines Respond calmly to incidents or changes in someone's wellbeing Maintain clear and accurate records Complete appropriate household tasks Prepare the home for the following day Provide a clear handover to the daytime team This is a waking-night position, so you must remain awake, alert and available throughout every shift.
The role includes weekends and bank holidays on a rota.
You will need: Previous experience within care, supported living or a residential setting Experience supporting adults with autism, learning disabilities or complex needs Confidence providing personal care The ability to respond calmly to challenging or unexpected situations Good written communication and record-keeping skills A compassionate, patient and respectful approach Flexibility to work nights, weekends and bank holidays Previous experience as a Waking Night Support Worker, Night Support Worker, Care Assistant or Healthcare Assistant would be particularly relevant.
A full UK driving licence is desirable.
