Are you an experienced Support Worker or Senior Residential Childcare Worker, with a qualification in Residential childcare, looking to take the next step in your career?
The Retreat is a specialist Short Breaks and Day Service supporting children and young people with additional needs such as EBD, SEMH, LD or Autism. We're looking for a motivated Senior Support Worker to help lead shifts, support colleagues, and ensure outstanding care is delivered every day.
What You'll Do
- Lead shifts and support the day-to-day running of the service.
- Provide high-quality, child-centred care and support.
- Coach and mentor team members, including new starters.
- Promote positive outcomes, independence and wellbeing for the children we support.
- Ensure care plans, safeguarding procedures and risk assessments are followed.
- Maintain accurate records and support service quality standards.
What We're Looking For
- Experience supporting children and young people in residential care or short breaks.
- Previous senior or leadership experience is essential.
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding and person-centred care.
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare is essential
