What you'll be doing:
- Supporting Daily Life: Assisting with daily routines, meal preparation, personal care, and developing key independent living skills.
- Building Relationships: Getting to know our supported adults as individuals - understanding their passions, sensory preferences, and communication styles.
- Promoting Community Inclusion: Helping residents access local community activities, hobbies, outings, and leisure events.
- Maintaining Safety & Wellbeing: Following person-centred care plans, positive behaviour support strategies, and safeguarding guidelines to maintain a calm, structured, and therapeutic home environment.
What we're looking for:
- No previous care experience required - we hire for empathy, reliability, and values, and provide full, paid training.
- Experience in adult care, mental health support, or customer-facing roles is a bonus, but a patient, respectful attitude is what matters most.
- Willingness to support individuals living with autism, mental health needs, or behavioural challenges.
- Comfort with personal care tasks and working a rotational shift pattern including weekends and sleep-ins.
- Full right to work in the UK.
- A full UK driving licence is desirable.
