What You’ll Be Doing

  • Carrying out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across a range of sites
  • Diagnosing faults quickly and effectively to minimise downtime
  • Completing Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs)
  • Ensuring all work is compliant with current wiring regulations (BS 7671)
  • Installing, upgrading and replacing consumer units and distribution boards
  • Delivering small works installations (lighting, sockets, final circuits, equipment connections)
  • Fault finding and repairing heating system wiring
  • Producing clear and accurate job reports and documentation

What You’ll Need

  • NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • Experience across maintenance, testing and small installations
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability
  • Full UK driving licence
