What will you be doing? This is a new business-focused, field based B2B role, ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships from scratch and seeing the full sales cycle through. Business development comes naturally to you and you enjoy nurturing accounts as well as hunting new customers.
You’ll be:
- Generating new business through proactive cold calling
- Booking and attending face-to-face client meetings
- Converting internal leads into revenue
- Managing the full customer journey – from first contact to job completion
- Gathering technical waste data to support compliant and accurate quoting
- Working closely with internal technical, transport and operations teams
- Identifying Waste Management opportunities (including recycling & recovery)
- Using a bespoke CRM system to manage pipeline and customer data
- Coordinating customer visits to operational facilities
What are we looking for?
- Experience in sales across any waste management vertical
- Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills
- Self-motivated and comfortable working remotely
- Commercial mindset with a proactive approach to winning business
- Confident using CRM systems and general IT
- Full UK driving licence
- Ideally based across Central / South Midlands region
