Looking for a role where your skills are genuinely valued? Join a business where you are not just another engineer on the rota but a key part of a team delivering high-quality work across commercial and industrial environments.

About the company:

This is an opportunity to join a well-established building services specialist with a long-term contract in the London area. The company has a long-standing contract covering 4/5 sites in London. While this role is mobile, you will be semi-static, moving around the same sites 80% of the time with 20% for other customers.

What’s in it for you?

  • Overtime available to increase earnings paid at both x1.5 and x2
  • Consistent, long-term work across a small selection of sites
  • Supportive team environment, working as part of a team
  • Opportunity to develop your technical skillset across AC, refrigeration & ventilation
  • Hand tool allowance
  • Your birthday off as extra holiday

What will you be doing?

  • Working across a mix of commercial and industrial sites, carrying out service, maintenance and fault finding on AC & refrigeration systems (approx 50/50 split between maintenance and reactive works)
  • Diagnosing and resolving technical issues efficiently
  • Supporting ventilation and general building services works
  • Delivering a high standard of customer service on-site
  • Working independently while staying connected to a wider engineering team

What are we looking for?

  • City & Guilds NVQ Level 2 (or above) in Air Conditioning / Refrigeration
  • F-Gas 2079 Category 1 certification
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability
  • Experience within commercial and/or industrial environments (preferred)
  • Good communication and customer-facing skills
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Own hand tools

A few questions for you:

  • Do you take pride in diagnosing faults properly—not just patching issues?
  • Are you comfortable working across different sites and environments?
  • Do you want a role with variety, rather than the same job every day?
  • Would overtime opportunities make a real difference to your earnings?

This is a solid opportunity for an engineer who wants stability, variety of work, and the chance to be part of a business that values doing the job properly.
