They manage commercial-scale heating and gas installations, plant rooms, boiler systems and associated mechanical infrastructure, ensuring compliance and performance on every project.
We are seeking an experienced and qualified Commercial Gas Engineer to join our team. This is a hands-on role involving installation, service, maintenance and fault diagnosis on a wide range of commercial gas and heating systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Install, commission and certify commercial gas systems, boilers and associated plant.
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance and routine servicing on commercial heating and gas equipment.
- Respond to reactive call-outs, troubleshoot faults and complete repairs efficiently.
- Conduct safety checks, pressure testing, flue analysis and system purging.
- Maintain accurate service records, documentation and compliance certificates.
- Work collaboratively with site managers, clients and other trades to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Follow all relevant safety, compliance and quality standards at all times.
- Fully qualified Commercial Gas Engineer with valid Gas Safe (or equivalent) commercial gas certifications.
- Strong understanding of commercial boilers, plant rooms and large-scale heating systems.
- Proven experience in installation, service, maintenance and diagnostics in commercial environments.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and a professional approach when dealing with clients.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between sites.
