Nestled in the heart of the Cotswolds English countryside, Lucknam Park Hotel & Spa is part of the prestigious Emblems Collection set within 500 acres of parkland. We are seeking an exceptional, passionate and sales driven Commercial Director to shape the success and brand of this iconic county estate into its next chapter.

Main responsibilities:

  • To be responsible for growing, nurturing and leading the commercial activities of the business
  • To maximise the hotel’s revenue and maintain the competitiveness of the property
  • Directly oversee and manage the sales team to ensure sales optimisation
  • Build new relationships with companies and agencies to maximise on all promotional opportunities for events & sales
  • To identify needed periods and proactively action business opportunities
  • To create, communicate and drive sales strategies
  • Growth in corporate business
  • Travel to trade shows, visiting clients, as required to grow the business

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in luxury hospitality sales and marketing role
  • Previous experience of managing a Sales team
  • A keen eye for detail, passion for hospitality and an appreciation for luxury, personalised service
  • Working knowledge with software systems such as Opera Cloud and Ideas
  • Excellent, strong organisational and communication skills
  • Understanding of revenue trends and predictions to drive the property forward
