We are working exclusively with our client, Enviroland, a fast-growing Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) company that helps landowners create off-site habitats and sell Biodiversity Units to developers. We're seeking a hands-on BNG Project Manager to drive delivery, partnerships, and unit sales across England. This is a central, high-impact role that combines ecological expertise, project coordination, and commercial insight, with exposure to the full BNG lifecycle.
Your role will include:
- Assessing sites using the Defra Biodiversity Metric and supporting unit generation
- Coordinating ecological surveys, enhancement planning, and metric inputs
- Assisting with BNG site registration and planning documentation
- Managing relationships with developers and supporting Biodiversity Unit sales
- Tracking project milestones, reporting, and compliance
- Contributing to improvements in internal systems and processes
We are looking for someone who:
- Has hands-on experience with the Defra Biodiversity Metric and BNG projects
- Has a background in ecology, environmental management, or consultancy
- Is confident, organised, solutions-focused, and commercially aware
- Holds a full UK driving licence and is willing to travel
