Are you a hands-on, organised and service-minded Facilities professional who enjoys keeping a workplace running smoothly? At Össur, we are looking for a Facilities Coordinator to join our UK Operations team in Stockport. In this varied and visible role, you will be at the heart of our site operations - making sure our workplace is clean, safe, compliant and efficient, while helping to create a positive experience for everyone who works in or visits our UK site.
You will coordinate day-to-day facilities activities, work closely with suppliers and contractors, support health & safety compliance, and help drive small workplace improvement projects. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, takes ownership and likes being the go-to person who helps things get done.
What you’ll do
In this role, you will help ensure the smooth operation of the Ossur UK workplace. Your responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining a clean, safe and well-functioning office environment
- Coordinating meeting rooms, customer visits, events logistics and facilities set-up
- Acting as the first point of contact for facilities-related queries and issues
- Managing planned and reactive maintenance activities
- Supporting space planning, desk allocation and office moves where needed
- Coordinating external suppliers such as cleaning, security, maintenance and utilities providers
- Supporting health & safety activities, including inspections, audits, risk assessments and incident reporting
- Maintaining accurate facilities records, contracts and documentation, including SharePoint pages
- Supporting facilities invoicing, cost management and reporting
- Contributing to workplace improvements and sustainability initiatives such as waste reduction, recycling and energy efficiency
What we’re looking for
We are looking for someone who is practical, proactive and confident working with different stakeholders. You will be someone who enjoys multitasking, can respond quickly to issues and understands the importance of creating a safe and welcoming workplace. You will bring:
- Experience in a facilities, office coordination or workplace support role
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and respond quickly to daily operational needs
- Working knowledge of UK health & safety practices
- Good MS Office skills, including Outlook, Excel and Teams
- A friendly, customer-focused and solutions-oriented mindset
It would be a plus if you also have experience with supplier or vendor management, SharePoint document sites, IOSH or similar health & safety training, or First Aid training although training can be provided where required.
