Who Are We Looking For?
The Head Waiter will ensure that all food services are well supportedand help direct the members of the team in being prepared for service. Theywill be extremely passionate about food and beverage, supporting the Managersin training the team and arming them with all the tools to succeed duringbriefings. They will be responsible for encouraging the team to remain serviceand guest focused.
They will be the right-hand person of the Management team duringservice, as well as ensure all preparations leading up to those services areexact and precise. They will also be encouraged to deliver magic moments,empowering the team to deliver an exquisite experience to the guest and beproactive in ensuring all public areas and spaces should be looked after.
They should have at least 2 years of full-time experience in acomparable position and environment. It is essential they are guest focused andrecognise that the team will be responsible for delivering an exquisiteexperience. As such, training and shaping the team is fundamental in being ableto achieve a harmonious and passionate collective.
What Are The Key Responsibilities?
- Guest Interaction and Repeat Business built on trust and experiences.
- Ensure the preparation and delivery of service is at the higheststandards in relation to our offering.
- Assist with training of staff in the consistent delivery of the order ofservice, menu knowledge and elevating the guest experience.
- Complete individual tasks assigned by the restaurant manager or linemanager
- Compliant with Health and Safety Standards, built in to deliverexquisite experiences for guests.
- Run a section in the restaurant, loungeor terrace with enthusiasm, energy and personality.
- Oversee all sections accorss Emberwoodand support the team in delivery of the product to a high standard
- Responsibility for the correct opening or close-down of the restaurant
- Leadership though energy and enthusiasm for the environment and brand tocreate a positive feeling for all staff and guests.
