We are hiring a Lead Hand located in Nova Scotia. The Janitor performs routine building cleaning tasks to maintain clean and safe shopping mall and grounds. This work is manual in nature and requires a variety of physical demands.
- Perform a full range of janitorial and custodial assignments such as mopping and cleaning walls.
- Perform semi-skilled and skilled duties in other trade areas.
- Perform other work as assigned or required on the contract.
A working knowledge of building cleaning practices, supplies and equipment is required, along with knowledge of proper use of a wide range of chemicals according to state and federal regulations. Knowledge of disposing of hazardous materials and blood borne pathogens is also necessary.
