The magic you’ll perform
- Collaborate closely with the frontend engineers to define and implement our frontend strategy.
- Take shared ownership of our library architecture, ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Build and maintain high-quality library components using React, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
- Contribute to a culture of excellence by reviewing code, mentoring peers, and sharing knowledge with the team.
- Work with designers to create seamless and delightful user experiences.
- Actively participate in team discussions, explaining your solutions clearly while remaining open to feedback and suggestions.
Hard skills
- 8+ years’ experience as a frontend engineer
- React knowledge: React core principles, hooks, performance optimisation, accessibility, testing and best practices.
- TypeScript & JavaScript knowledge: Strong Javascript fundamentals, inclusive effective use of standard browser and ECMAScript APIs. Advanced TypeScript proficiency with experience in built-in utility types, authoring custom utility types, advanced type composition and designing expressive maintainable public type APIs.
- CSS knowledge: Strong pure CSS fundamentals, modern layout techniques, scalable styling strategies, design system-driven styling and state-based and interactive styling.
