This FMCG business is one of the UK's leading importers and distributors of international food brands, supplying retailers, wholesalers and foodservice customers across the UK. As we continue to grow, we're investing in our people, systems and processes—and we're looking for an exceptional Head of Operations to join our senior leadership team.
About the Role
This is a hands-on leadership role where your greatest impact will come through leading people. You'll oversee multiple operational functions, build accountability across the business and implement the systems, processes and reporting needed to support our next phase of growth. Working closely with the Director, you'll help shape company strategy while ensuring the business operates efficiently, commercially and collaboratively.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading, coaching and developing managers across the business
- Creating a high-performance culture built on accountability and engagement
- Improving operational efficiency and cross-functional collaboration
- Strengthening financial controls, including cash flow and credit management
- Developing SOPs, training programmes and operational documentation
- Building KPI dashboards and meaningful management reporting
- Leading operational improvement projects and business change initiatives
- Supporting the senior leadership team in delivering long-term growth
