This is a full-time position located in Kirkcaldy, with the flexibility for some remote work. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining high-integrity safety critical software systems. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, participate in code reviews, and provide technical mentorship to junior team members while ensuring compliance with safety-critical standards.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Computer Science fundamentals and principles
- Strong expertise in Embedded Development
- Advanced skills in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (C, C++, C# and Python)
- Proven experience in designing and delivering reliable, high-integrity safety critical software engineering solutions
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working to regulatory standards including ISO 13485, IEC 62304, IEC 61508, and FDA requirements
- Knowledge of software testing and verification techniques
