Embassy Summer, under its parent company EC English, offers award-winning summer vacation programmes for young people across multiple locations in the UK, Malta, Spain, South Africa & UAE. Students learn English or Spanish whilst immersing themselves in the local culture and surroundings. Our programmes are a combination of language classes, exciting excursions and fun‑filled sporting, creative and social activities.
Position Summary

As an Activity Leader you’ll be the one making things happen! You’ll lead games, trips, and activities, get everyone involved, and make sure every student has an amazing, safe, and unforgettable experience. Organisational Compliance
You’ll be expected to follow our company’s Code of Conduct and any local policies that cover academics, welfare, and safeguarding – basically, doing your bit to help create a safe and positive environment for everyone. We also take Health & Safety seriously! You’ll need to stick to all safety rules, complete any required training, and follow any control measures from risk assessments to keep yourself and others safe.
Education Required
You’ll need to have completed A‑Levels or equivalent.
Extra Qualifications (Nice to Have)
- A valid First Aid Certificate
- Any specialism in sports coaching, drama, or dance
Experience Required
No previous work experience? No problem! We’re looking for people with common sense, great communication skills, and a positive attitude. You’ll get full training to do the job well – and it’s a great way to gain real‑world experience and build up your CV!
Experience Desired
- Experience at a summer school, especially with people from different cultures
- Any background or qualification in hospitality or customer service
- Experience in sports coaching, drama, or dance

Working week
6 days out of 7 (1 day off per week) 42 hours per week
Remuneration
Gross weekly pay: £600.13 (Basic weekly pay: £535.50 + Holiday pay: £64.63) FREE Full board residential accommodation included.
Staff uniform
All staff are required to wear the designated company uniform while on duty. Employees must ensure that the uniform is worn properly, maintained in a clean and presentable condition, and always adheres to the company’s dress code standards.
Disclosure and Barring Service
If you do not have an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring certificate and are not registered on the DBS update service, we will need to apply for a new Enhanced DBS for you. Please confirm this at the time of application.
