Own the marketing and e-commerce P&L for a luxury beauty brand scaling on two fronts. You'll run our established London business while we build Embassy of Beauty in the US setting strategy, driving revenue and leading the team across both markets, reporting directly to the founders. This is a senior commercial role with real ownership of budget, P&L and people.
The opportunity Embassy is at an inflection point. We've built a destination on Kensington Church Street and a strong UK e-commerce business and we're now launching in the US. This role leads marketing and e-commerce through that next phase: sharpening the UK engine while helping stand up a second market from the ground up.
What you'll own
- Commercial & P&L
- Own the marketing and e-commerce P&L, revenue, margin and marketing spend efficiency
- Set and execute the strategy against commercial targets across the UK and US
- Allocate budget across channels for return, not just reach
- Brand & Marketing
- Lead brand positioning, messaging and storytelling across every channel
- Plan and deliver integrated campaigns spanning digital, social, PR, influencer and partnerships
- Protect brand consistency across every customer touchpoint and both markets
- E-commerce & Digital Growth
- Own e-commerce strategy, performance and revenue targets
- Drive website performance, UX/UI and conversion rate optimisation
- Lead retention, CRM and lifecycle strategy and loyalty engine
- Manage online merchandising, product launches and promotional planning
- Performance & Analytics
- Make data-led decisions across marketing and e-commerce
- Own the KPIs that matter: ROAS, CAC, LTV, conversion rate and contribution
- Find growth through structured testing and optimisation
- Leadership
- Lead and develop an established London team, and build out capability as the US grows
- Manage agency and external partner relationships
- Partner with retail, operations and the founders to align growth with brand
What you'll bring
- 7+ years in marketing and e-commerce leadership, ideally within beauty, luxury or premium consumer brands
- A proven track record of scaling e-commerce revenue and brand growth
- Experience owning a marketing or e-commerce P&L, accountable for commercial outcomes
- Deep expertise across paid media, SEO, CRM and social commerce
- Hands-on experience with Shopify, Klaviyo and analytics tooling
- Comfort operating in a hands-on, build-phase environment, strategy and execution, not one or the other
- A sharp commercial and analytical mind, paired with strong strategic instincts
- Excellent stakeholder management and the ability to recruit and develop talent
