Working for a leading manufacturer of industrial diesel engines, you will be working as a Mobile Plant Fitter and Diesel Service Engineer – home based in South Yorkshire area. You will have previous engineering experience working on a range of Mechanical Diesel Engines. The salary for this position is £40 - £45,000, plus overtime as required (typically an additional 20% of salary). We are looking for someone who is familiar with working on Diesel Engines, with previous experience working on Construction Plant Equipment. The position is permanent full time Monday - Friday, plus overtime.
Key Responsibilities
- PDI’s, Servicing & Repairing Diesel Engines
- Attend breakdowns on client sites
- Service plant equipment whilst out on site
- Fit Accessories as Required
- Work Well Under Pressure
- Complete Administration Tasks including Service & Repair Records
- Accurately Present a Professional and Positive Attitude when working on Customer Sites
- Maintain Health & Safety To HSE & Company Standards
Qualifications
- Previous Experience in One or More of The Following Roles: Service Engineer; Mobile Service Engineer; Plant Fitter, Mobile Plant Fitter, Mobile Service Engineer
- You Will Need Previous Experience within the Plant Hire / Agricultural and Construction Equipment Industry
- Analytical Approach To Problem Solving
- Able to Work Without Instruction
- IT Literate
- Own Tool Kit
- Good Communication Skills, both Verbal & Written
- Clean Current Driving License
